What we log
| Data | Typical content | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical | AC and DC power, energy, voltage and current for the trial array and a reference array | Every 1 to 15 minutes from the logger |
| Site conditions | Irradiance, module temperature and ambient temperature | Same interval as the electrical data |
| Manual readings | Meter readings taken on site, with a note on who read them | At each site visit |
| Photos | Dated photos of the installation, the meters and site conditions | At each site visit, and after any event |
How it gets in
The site data logger sends readings to Webdoli over HTTPS. Each logger has its own key, and we can switch a key off at any time. Site staff can also type in readings, import CSV files from the logger, and upload photos from a phone.
We store all times in UTC and show them in the local time of the site. If a photo carries a camera time and GPS position, we keep both.
How we keep the record honest
No one can edit or delete an entry through the platform. If a reading is wrong, an administrator voids it and gives a reason. The voided entry stays on record and appears in full downloads.
Every entry shows who logged it and how it arrived. Every photo gets a SHA-256 fingerprint when it is uploaded. Anyone holding a downloaded photo can recompute that fingerprint and compare it with the photo register.
Who can see the data
The trial data is not public. It sits behind a login. ARENA assessors and project partners get named accounts. Most accounts can view and download data but cannot add to it. Only the site team can log new entries.
